Hanoi, July 6 -- Vietnam will host the Esports Grand Championship (EGC) 2026 for the first time, according to the Sports Authority of Vietnam.

The international tournament, endorsed by the Southeast Asian Esports Federation and recognised under Olympic-standard achievement criteria, will take place from July 9 to 12 at the My Dinh Athletics Palace in Hanoi as part of The Grand Esports 2026 series.

The championship will feature competitions in four titles, namely Street Fighter 6, Summoners War: Sky Arena, Audition, and Au Mobile, bringing together leading players from countries with well-established esports scenes.
