Vietnam targets Southeast Asia's leading medical tourism position by 2030
Hanoi, Aug. 19 -- Vietnam aims to attract around 750,000 international medical tourists from 2026-2030 and become one of Southeast Asia's leading medical tourism destinations under a draft scheme being prepared by the Ministry of Health. The draft scheme on medical tourism development for 2026-2030, which is being circulated for feedback, seeks to make Vietnam a competitive destination in Southeast Asia and gradually bring the country closer to Asia's leading group.
