Hanoi, Feb. 28 -- Vietnam is emerging as an attractive destination for artificial intelligence (AI) data centre investment, competing strongly with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines in the race to attract AI infrastructure in Southeast Asia, Indonesia's The Jakarta Post assessed in a recent article. According to the newspaper, Southeast Asia is witnessing a sharp rise in data centres driven by surging AI demand and multi-billion-USD investments by global tech giants to build new infrastructure serving AI and cloud services.
