Vientiane, March 19 -- The Laos-Vietnam Cooperation Committee convened a conference in Vientiane on March 19 to review and disseminate outcomes of the 48th session of the Vietnam-Laos Intergovernmental Committee, stepping up efforts to implement bilateral cooperation agreements between the two nations.

Chaired by Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Laos-Vietnam Cooperation Committee Saleumxay Kommasith, the event marked an important step in operationalising the 2026-2030 Cooperation Agreement and the 2026 Cooperation Plan, laying the groundwork for deeper and more effective collaboration in the new development phase of bilateral ties.
