Top Vietnamese leader's Russia visit to mark milestone in bilateral ties: Russian Deputy PM
Hanoi, Sept. 6 -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has expressed confidence that the upcoming visit to Russia by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam will mark an important milestone in further strengthening the strategic ties between the two countries. General Secretary and President Lam, his spouse, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation will pay a state visit to Russia from September 7 to 9 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
