Ties with Vietnam enter new phase of closer engagement: New Zealand media
Auckland, Aug. 13 -- Relations between New Zealand and Vietnam are entering a new phase of closer engagement, underpinned by growing political trust, rapidly expanding trade and increasingly intertwined interests in education, agriculture, technology, investment and regional cooperation. This was a common message highlighted by many New Zealand media outlets and observers in their coverage of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam's state visit to New Zealand from August 12 to 14.
