Bangkok, Feb. 25 -- The Thailand Meteorological Department on February 25 issued a warning of widespread hot weather across the country, noting that all regions face a heightened risk of summer storms.

The storms could bring thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and lightning to several areas, including the capital Bangkok.

A seasonal thunderstorm is expected in upper Thailand, with thunderstorms, gusty winds, hail, and heavy rain in some areas, as well as potential lightning strikes.

This is due to the high-pressure system or cold air mass from China covering the eastern part of the northeastern region and the South East Sea.
