Bangkok, March 10 -- Thailand's Cabinet on March 10 approved a resolution requiring government organisations and state enterprises to work from home and suspend overseas trips as part of measures to cope with global energy crisis stemming from escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Announcing the results of the Cabinet meeting the same day, Deputy Government Spokeswoman Lalida Periswiwatana stated that the Cabinet had adopted a directive from caretaker Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also the Minister of Home Affairs, regarding the conflict in the Middle East and its impact on Thailand's fuel security.
