Bangkok, Aug. 11 -- Thailand is accelerating infrastructure modernisation and the application of digital technologies in air traffic management to improve safety, reduce flight delays, save fuel and advance its goal of becoming a world-class aviation hub. According to Deputy Transport Minister Phattharapong Phattharaprasit, the ministry has instructed the Department of Airports, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (Aerothai) to accelerate a project integrating weather radar data with the Thai Meteorological Department.
