Thai Nguyen, Oct. 30 -- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam has urged Thai Nguyen to build synchronised infrastructure, modern governance and improve the quality of people's life as it looks towards its 200th founding anniversary in 2031.

He made the call at a ceremony on October 30 marking the 195th anniversary of the province's establishment (November 4, 1831-2026), receiving the first-class Labour Order and opening the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026.

Congratulating Thai Nguyen on its achievements, the General Secretary and President said the province should look beyond its 195th anniversary towards its bicentenary and the country's development aspirations for 2045. ...
