Singapore, March 18 -- Singapore and Japan have upgraded their bilateral ties to a strategic partnership, with deeper cooperation planned in a wide range of areas, from artificial intelligence to green transition. Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi announced the upgrade on March 18, in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.
