Russian media: Vietnam's leadership consolidation boosts governance efficiency
Hanoi, April 8 -- Hanoi (VNA) - Russian media outlets have highlighted Vietnam's move toward building a more effective and action-oriented state apparatus, following the 16th National Assembly (NA)'s election of Party General Secretary To Lam as State President for the 2026-2031 tenure, describing it as a significant step in governance restructuring aimed at achieving long-term development goals.
A series of Russian news agencies and television channels on April 7 widely reported on the decision, which they said reflects an important shift in Vietnam's governance model toward greater consolidation of leadership and improved policy execution capacity.
