Hanoi, March 1 -- Vietnam's State-owned enterprises (SOEs) are getting a major power-up under the Politburo's Resolution 79-NQ/TW, issued in early January 2026, to not just hang onto and grow State cash but spearhead huge national and local development pushes as core drivers.
In Hanoi, SOEs are pouring capital into multi-purpose urban zones, a deliberate move to ease choking urban pressures while securing the capital's expansion for decades to come.
