Hanoi, June 18 -- The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,173 VND/USD on June 18, down 2 VND from the previous day. With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,432 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,914 VND/USD. The opening-hour buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw fluctuations. Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,111 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,431 VND/USD, both down 2 VND from the June 17 morning session. Meanwhile, BIDV kept both rates unchanged, listing the buying rate at 26,113 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,433 VND/USD./.
