According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, temperatures in parts of the north and central regions continued to exceed 40 degrees Celsius on May 26. In Hanoi, the temperature recorded in Lang Ha at 1 pm on May 26 reached 40 degrees Celsius.
