Petrol, diesel prices increase on August 20
Hanoi, Aug. 20 -- Domestic petrol and diesel prices were adjusted up from 3pm on August 20, with the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance deciding not to make any contributions to or draw from the petrol price stabilisation fund. Accordingly, the retail price of E5RON92 petrol was capped at 21,833 VND (0.84 USD) per litre, up 598 VND per litre from the previous ceiling price. E10RON95-III petrol was priced at no more than 22,668 VND per litre, an increase of 549 VND per litre.
The ceiling price of 0.05S diesel was raised by 1,310 VND to 28,543 VND per litre, while 180CST 3.5S mazut rose by 933 VND to 17,689 VND per kilogramme. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise trade...
