Hanoi, Feb. 24 -- Myanmar will convene the first session of its third Pyithu Hluttaw (Lower House) on March 16, according to a recent announcement issued by the Pyithu Hluttaw. As reported by China's Xinhua news agency, Myanmar's National Defence and Security Council also released an announcement on February 23, stating that the first session of the third Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House) and the first sessions of the third Region and State Hluttaws (Region and State Parliaments) will be held on March 18 and March 20, respectively.
