Ho Chi Minh City, March 12 -- Amid recent fuel price fluctuations, several transport operators in Ho Chi Minh City have adjusted fares at varying levels, while many major companies have opted to keep ticket prices unchanged.
Public passenger transport services have maintained stable fares, with some ride-hailing platforms even introducing price reductions.
Ngo Hai Duong, head of the Transport Management Division under the municipal Department of Construction, said that as of March 10, 15 fixed-route passenger transport operators had reported fare increases on 102 routes. Adjustments range from about 5% to 36%, depending on travel distance and vehicle type.
