Vientiane, March 12 -- The Lao Government has affirmed that the country still has sufficient fuel supplies to meet domestic demand, while urging the public to use fuel sparingly amid concerns that prolonged conflict in the Middle East could affect global supply. Speaking at a press briefing on March 11, Sonexay Sitphaxay, spokesperson for the Lao Government, said national fuel supplies remain under control and that Laos currently maintains reserves sufficient for use over a certain period.
