Vientiane, March 19 -- The first session of Laos' 10th National Assembly (NA), scheduled for March 23-27, will deliberate and approve a range of fundamental national issues in accordance with the Constitution and relevant laws, a senior Lao official said. As reported by the Lao News Agency KPL, speaking at a press briefing on March 18, Amphayvone Lombounpheng, Head of the NA Office and member of the Party Central Committee, confirmed that the five-day session will formally launch the 10th NA term and address a wide range of fundamental national priorities.
