Hanoi, Aug. 22 -- With around 1,350 craft villages and craft-based communities, including 327 recognised as traditional craft villages, Hanoi is leveraging its rich heritage to develop cultural industries and experiential tourism, creating new drivers for local economic growth. The city views craft village development not only as an economic task but also as a way to preserve heritage and promote cultural identities. It has identified priority projects linking craft villages with tourism and developed specialised tours and experiential products.
