Hanoi, March 20 -- Retail fuel prices were increased across the board from 23:00 on March 19 following a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Ministry of Finance.
The two ministries decided to use the petrol price stabilisation fund to help ease market shocks, with spending set at about 3,000 VND (0.11 USD) per litre for biofuel and unleaded petrol, 4,000 VND per litre for diesel, 3,000 VND per litre for kerosene, and 3,000 VND per kilogram for fuel oil.
Accordingly, E5 RON92 biofuel was capped at 27,177 VND per litre, up 3,673 VND from the previous level, while the price of RON95-III petrol rose by 4,115 VND to 30,690 VND per litre. The price of diesel increased by 5,395 VND to 33,420 VND per litre, while...
