Hanoi, Aug. 24 -- The Government values the knowledge, experience and contributions of the Vietnamese community abroad and is committed to creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese scientists and experts overseas to contribute to the country's development, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung has said.

He made the remarks while receiving Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tam, Chair of the Department of Computer Science, Data and Artificial Intelligence at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) in Hanoi on August 24.

The Deputy PM expressed his pleasure at meeting Tam, a prominent Vietnamese scientist in France who has conducted outstanding research and holds key academic positions at IP Paris and Telecom Paris.
