Childcare access key to sustaining women's industrial workforce
Hanoi, April 9 -- Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Improving access to quality childcare is vital to sustaining women's participation in Vietnam's industrial workforce, experts said at a workshop on April 8. The event, organised by the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Sciences, the Ministry of Education and Training's Early Childhood Education Department, and the World Bank, brought together policymakers, researchers and development partners to discuss how strengthening early childhood care systems can support economic growth and social development.
