Can Tho, April 1 -- A project supporting the comprehensive development of disadvantaged children in educational institutions was launched at a ceremony in Tan Loc ward, the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, on March 31.

The event was jointly organised by the Can Tho Union of Friendship Organisations (CTUFO) and the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF).

Funded with over 11.3 billion VND (429,000 USD) by the TFCF, the project will run from February 2026 to December 2030. It aims to improve learning conditions, enhance the capacity of teachers and parents, and provide direct support for about 1,200 pupils at five primary schools in Tan Loc ward.
