Phnom Penh, March 14 -- Cambodia has stepped up efforts to combat fake news and misinformation with the launch of the second phase of the "Zero Fake News" campaign under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) mechanism. The campaign was officially launched on March 12 by the Ministry of Information at a ceremony chaired by Information Minister Neth Pheaktra. The event brought together senior government officials, journalists, media experts and digital content creators. The initiative aims to enhance information quality in the digital era through three main strategies.
