Hanoi, April 1 -- Vietnam's agro-forestry-fishery exports reached 16.69 billion USD in the first three months of 2026, up 5.9% year-on-year, announced a regular press briefing held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in Hanoi on April 1. In this period, the sector posted a trade surplus of 4.78 billion USD, representing a 12% increase, said Tran Gia Long, Deputy Director of the Planning and Finance Department. In March alone, export turnover was estimated at 6.02 billion USD, marking a sharp 47.8% increase compared to the previous month, though slightly down 1.5% year-on-year.
