3.5 billion-USD AI data centre complex proposed in Tay Ninh
Ho Chi Minh City, Aug. 30 -- An AI-focused data centre complex with a planned capacity of up to 200 MW has been proposed in southern Tay Ninh province, with the first phase expected to have a capacity of 100 MW and investment of around 3.5 billion USD. A consortium comprising Saigon Technology and Telecommunications JSC (SAIGONTEL), World Harmony Co., Ltd. (WVU) and SAIF Eagle II Investment Co., Ltd. submitted a letter of intent (LOI) for the project to the provincial People's Committee at the Tay Ninh investment promotion conference on August 28.
