New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Technology startup for children Wippi, driving training platform Lane, deeptech startup Quarkitech and autonomous drone interceptor maker KshatraLabs have raised between Rs 2-11 crore in separate rounds.

Wippi

Wippi, a children's technology startup, has secured $1.2 million (around Rs 11.4 crore) in seed funding round, led by 12 Flags, a consumer investment and venture firm led by former global CEO of Reckitt Benckiser Rakesh Kapoor.

The round also saw participation from Warmup Ventures, Ventana Ventures and Ruvento Ventures.

It will use the capital for product innovation, to strengthen its proprietary voice AI capabilities, to expand its engineering and AI teams, to scale up manufacturing in India and to grow its direct-to-consumer business, it said.

Wippi, founded by Rishabh Singhi and Siddhartha Jain, offers a screen-free product that combines proprietary voice AI with original content, Character Cards and illustrated storybooks, and allows children to have real conversations with their favourite story characters.

Lane

Lane , a tech-enabled driving education and mobility platform, has secured Rs 8.5 crore ($890,000) in a round led by Kae Capital.

DeVC, Antler India, Panthera Peak and individual investors also participated in the round.

The company, founded by Samiksha Agarwal in 2025, brings together structured driving lessons, end-to-end RTO and licensing support, and a driver intelligence platform.

It will use the capital for geographical expansion in Bengaluru and other tier 1 cities, and for building its sensor technology for proprietary driving behaviour systems, and downstream infrastructure for car ownership.

Quarkitech

Quarkitech, a deeptech company, has secured Rs 2 crore ($210,000) in pre-seed funding from Artha Access, the pre-seed co-investment initiative of Artha Venture Fund II, and Finvolve.

It has also been awarded a Rs 1.5 crore grant by IITM-CDOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation, under the National Quantum Mission, the national programme approved by the Union Cabinet in 2023.

It will use the fresh capital to develop its core compression algorithm library, and develop its proprietary data compression technology for defence, aerospace and other data-intensive applications.

The company, based in IIT Madras Research Park, is building advanced compression algorithms for high-value sensor data, achieving up to 10-100x compression. The technology preserves information critical for AI, analytics, and scientific applications, enabling more data to be transmitted, stored, and processed within existing bandwidth and power constraints.

KshatraLabs

KshatraLabs, a defence-tech startup, has raised an undisclosed investment in pre-seed capital from Finvolve, a multi-stage venture capital fund, along with India Accelerator (IA).

It will use the capital to advance product development, strengthen its engineering capabilities and develop further its autonomous counter drone systems towards higher technology readiness levels and field validation.

Bengaluru-based KshatraLabs, founded in October 2025, is a defence robotics startup building autonomous counter-drone systems, and next generation command and control technology. Its flagship system, Hawk is designed for high-speed autonomous aerial interception.
