New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- Women's wellness brand Nua said Monday it has closed a Series C funding round of $50 million (Rs 472.4 crore) led by venture capital firm Peak XV Partners and growth equity investor Filter Capital.

Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also joined the round, Nua said in a statement.

The round comprises a mix of primary capital and secondary transactions, the company said, without providing the breakup. The secondary transactions provided partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox Ventures, and angel investors, the company said.

Nua had previously raised funding from Kae Capital and Lightbox, which backed its $4 million Series A in 2019 and $7.1 million pre-Series B in 2021. In February 2025, the company raised Rs 35 crore in a pre-Series C round led by Mirabilis Investment Trust, with participation from Samir Singh, Shuchi Kothari and SRF Ltd.

Nua said it plans to use the fresh capital for brand building, expanding its reach and distribution, and strengthening its research and development capabilities.

Founded in 2017 by Ravi Ramachandran, Nua is a digital-first, omnichannel women's wellness company offering products across period care, maternity care, skincare and everyday intimate care.

"Nua is redefining feminine hygiene and wellness with its superior product proposition and a brand that has built a remarkable connection with consumers," said Sumit Sinha, co-founder and managing partner at Filter Capital.

The company said it serves more than 3 million women and girls every month and has expanded into digital offerings such as the Nua Period Tracker app and SecretKeeper chat. It added that its annualised revenue run rate has grown from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore in the past 24 months while remaining profitable.

"Women's wellness in India is a large and evolving opportunity, and Nua has demonstrated a strong ability to build a brand that resonates deeply with consumers," said Sakshi Chopra, managing director at Peak XV. "The company has emerged as the fastest-growing brand in the category and the second-largest player online, demonstrating its ability to compete and win alongside much larger incumbents."
