
New Delhi, April 6 -- Full-service law firm JSA said Monday it has hired three corporate partners from CMS IndusLaw, along with a team of 18 associates and one retained partner.
Siddharth Manchanda and Minhaz Lokhandwala will join JSA's Mumbai office as corporate partners while Rashi Saraf will be based out of Bengaluru. Vinit Patwari is the new retained partner.
Commenting on the expansion, JSA joint managing partners Vivek Chandy and Amar Gupta said the lateral hires complement the firm's organic growth, which recently included the elevation of seven partners to equity partners and 20 attorneys to retained partners.
Manchanda has over 17 years of experience in VC/PE investments, M&A and corporate debt financing, with cross-border mandates spanning e-commerce, telecom, pharma, banking, power and financial services.
Saraf brings over 17 years of experience in M&A and PE/VC, advising promoters, family offices and funds on cross-border and domestic transactions across healthcare, edtech, real estate, consumer goods and logistics.
Lokhandwala has over 16 years of experience across VC/PE, M&A and joint ventures, with a specialist focus on healthcare and pharma, including regulatory compliance and diligence work for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. He also covers the D2C, e-commerce and manufacturing sectors.

Separately, CMS IndusLaw said it has hired Abir Lal Dey as an equity partner and Satyadarshi Kunal as a partner in its Mumbai office, along with their team for banking and finance and projects, energy and infrastructure practices.
Dey has over 20 years of experience across banking and finance, project finance, infrastructure, insolvency and restructuring, and debt capital markets. He advises domestic and international lenders, financial institutions, developers, and sponsors across renewable energy, logistics, aviation, highways, oil & gas, transmission, ports, and real estate. He joins from Saraf & Partners, where he led the banking and finance practice.
Kunal specialises in infrastructure and energy transactions, advising developers, sponsors, lenders, and public authorities on project development, concession frameworks, financing structures, and regulatory matters across roads, ports, power, shipping, and manufacturing.
Avimukt Dar and Suneeth Katarki, founding and senior partners at the law firm, said the two hires would strengthen the firm's banking and finance practice, infrastructure expertise, and Mumbai presence.
