New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- BlissClub, a direct-to-consumer brand offering athleisure products, has raised Rs 160 crore ($16.7 million) in a new funding round led by Mumbai-based investment firm Singularity AMC.

Existing investors Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures doubled down in this round. The brand's founder Minu Margeret and her partner Vidit Aatrey, who is also the chief executive of ecommerce company Meesho, are also investing "significant personal capital" in the round, the company said Friday.

"The Blissclub team has thoughtfully built a strong brand and business in the fast-growing categories of comfort-wear and active-wear in India. This fundraise will enable the company to further expand across both offline and online channels," said Sandeep Bapat, co-chief investment officer, Singularity AMC.

BlissClub said it will use the fresh capital to support its category expansion plans, fuel its offline retail scale up, strengthen product development, and hire for the next stage of growth.

The company, founded in 2020, started with the intention of building activewear designed specifically for Indian women. Since then, the company has grown into a full omnichannel business and now has a retail presence across more than 40 stores. Earlier this year, it forayed into menswear, too.

"We believe active lifestyle apparel is increasingly becoming a staple of everyday wardrobes, and BlissClub's deep product R&D and sourcing capabilities give us a unique right to win in this category," said Margeret. "This round allows us to double down on that vision - investing further in product innovation, expanding our offline presence, and bringing BlissClub to many more consumers across the country."

The latest round comes more than a year after it raised Rs 33 crore in a round led by Elevation Capital with participation from Eight Roads in May 2025. Previously, both these VC firms had co-led BlissClub's Series A round in 2022, when it secured $15 million (around Rs 115.5 crore) in 2022.

In May 2021, BlissClub raised $2.25 million led by Elevation Capital and angel investors Neeraj Arora (ex-CBO, WhatsApp), Kunal Shah (founder of CRED), Rahul Mehta (managing partner at DST) and Pam Lee (ex-Lululemon executive), among others.

"My conviction in this opportunity ahead has only grown stronger, and I'm personally doubling down on that belief by making a significant personal investment in this round. We're still at the beginning of what we believe can become a large, enduring and category-defining Indian consumer brand," Margeret added.
