India, Oct. 30 -- MBDA's strategy for India is pivoted on the transition from direct sales to strategic partnerships with large, local enterprises. Indian firms, including those under the Defence Industrial Corridors, are befitting from technology transfer and gaining manufacturing know-how through collaboration with MBDA. Under the 'Make in India' framework, MBDA is exploring models where components are not just assembled in India, but manufactured locally. This reduces dependency on foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and ensures that the supply chain for critical air weapons is resilient and localised.
