India, Aug. 29 -- On 4 May 2026, the new French Rafale Solo Display (RSD) pilot was officially revealed to the media on Nancy airbase (Base Aerienne 133 Nancy Ochey "Henry Jeandet", ICAO:LFSO). Due to runway maintenance at the nearby Rafale airbase St-Dizier (ICAO:LFSI), the Escadron de Transformation Rafale 3/4 "Aquitaine" was temporarily deployed to BA Nancy. During the RDS presentation at Nancy airbase, the new 2026 paint scheme of the Rafale was presented as well. The operational continuity of the Rafale Solo Display (RSD) is ensured through a personnel transition within the French Air Force (L'Armee de l'Air et de l'Espace, AAE).
