India, Oct. 30 -- Embraer and Azorra announced an agreement for purchasing 20 passenger-to-freighter conversions firm orders and 10 purchase rights, bringing the total agreement to up to 30 aircraft. The order follows the successful entry into service of the E190F in March. Built on the E-Jets platform with decades of operational success, the E Freighter is designed to meet the fast evolving demands of the express air freight industry, which requires fast deliveries and decentralised operations to high yield markets. Combining the lower and upper decks, the E190F offers more than 100 cubic meter of cargo volume and up to 13.5 tons of payload, enabling "the cost efficient transport of express cargo".
