India, Oct. 30 -- The "Make in India" initiative extends beyond assembly lines and into intellectual property by moving toward co-development models. By sharing technical expertise in precision guidance, propulsion, and warhead technology, MBDA helps Indian engineers bridge the gap between legacy systems and next generation weaponry. This facilitation is critical for the IAF's requirements for Beyond Visual Range (BVR) Missiles which can enhance the strike range and accuracy of Indian aircraft. Likewise, advanced targeting can reduce collateral damage from the use of Precision Guided Munitions (PGM).
