, July 21 -- SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has said moderate rain is prevailing at many places across Jammu and Kashmir, with isolated heavy to intense showers reported from parts of the Valley and Chenab Valley.

As per the nowcast issued at 1630 hrs, raining moderately at many places with isolated heavy/intense showers has been observed in Badgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Ganderbal, parts of South Kashmir and Chenab Valley.

The weather office said the current spell of rain and thundershowers is likely to continue over many places during the next 3 to 5 hours, with brief intense heavy showers at a few places.
