SRINAGAR, Oct. 4 -- A 73-year-old man from Lucknow died after he was found unconscious at a hotel in the Khanyar area of Srinagar, officials said here on Sunday.

An official told KNO, that the man, a resident of Lucknow, was found in an unconscious condition at a hotel in Khanyar, Srinagar.

He said that soon after receiving the information, a police party rushed to the spot and shifted him to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. He was later identified as Ramesh Kumar Bhaskar (73), son of M.L. Sharma, a resident of Lucknow.

Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken and a probe has been initiated.
