, May 18 -- SRINAGAR: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet against a former In-charge Superintendent Engineer of the J&K State Power Development Corporation for allegedly forging official records to alter his date of birth and secure undue service benefits.

In a statement issued to KNO, a spokesperson said the EOW filed a chargesheet before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar in FIR No. 09/2015 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 201 RPC against the then I/C Superintendent Engineer of the J&K State Power Development Corporation, who is now retired.
