, Feb. 23 -- RAMBAN: The Forest Division Ramban has lodged a fresh FIR against an individual already facing trial in a forest damage case, alleging misconduct, assault on officials and obstruction of government duties during an inquiry in Gool area.

The Forest Division Ramban has reported fresh legal action against Mr. Aqeel Ahmed Ganai, who is already facing proceedings in a forest damage case (Damage Case No. 02 of 2025-26). According to official sources, an earlier FIR (No. 57 of 2025) had been registered against him at Police Station Gool, and the matter is presently under trial before the Court of the Divisional Forest Officer, Ramban.
