, Nov. 3 -- BUDGAM: All eyes are on Budgam today as National Conference (NC) MP from Srinagar, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, is expected to announce his resignation from the party and his Lok Sabha seat during a public gathering at Behisht-e-Zehra Park. The gathering is being held on the death anniversary of his father, Aga Syed Mehdi.

According to KNO, Ruhullah has said his decision stems from ideological differences with the NC leadership and what he describes as the party's failure to fulfil key electoral promises, including the restoration of Article 370, protection of constitutional rights, addressing reservation concerns, and securing the release of prisoners.
