, June 27 -- JAMMU: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jammu on Saturday said it arrested a Senior Assistant after he was caught red-handed accepting a bribe on behalf of a senior official in the Labour Department, officials said.

They said the trap was laid following a complaint alleging a demand of Rs 40,000 for clearing a boiler inspection case.

In a statement issued to KNO, a spokesperson said the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jammu registered a case FIR No. 04/2026 U/S 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and 61(2) of BNS against public servants namely Er.
