LEXINGTON, Ky., Aug. 24 -- The University of Kentucky issued the following news release:
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2026) -The University of Kentucky, in partnership with the Lexington Transit Authority (Lextran), operates several on-campus bus routes to help students quickly access the entire campus.
Best of all? The buses are free and you don't have to show your Wildcat ID on campus routes. Just hop aboard at any bus stop or shelter.
To get off at the stop you need, tell the driver, "Next stop please," or pull the cord located above your seat window. All campus buses are ADA-compliant.
You can track buses in real-time by downloading Transit-UK's GPS-based bus tracking system. Riders can also use mystop.lextran.com.
