Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, along with U.S. Representatives Suzanne Bonamici, Andrea Salinas, Val Hoyle, and Maxine Dexter, today announced more than $4.3 million in federal awards to support public safety programs across Oregon.

"It is absolutely essential to ensure communities across Oregon are safe, and young people are able to get the support they need in times of crisis," Wyden said. "These federal grants will help support local police agencies, youth support programs and resources for foster youth.
