Community leaders across Northeastern Pennsylvania are applauding U.S. Representative Rob Bresnahan, Jr. (PA-08) and the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure on the passage of the committee's surface reauthorization package, the BUILD America 250 Act.
The legislation, which passed out of the committee with strong bipartisan support, is the largest bridge investment in American history, advances railway safety, keeps protections for our roads and bridges from damage caused by heavier trucks, and sends more resources to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP).
