A preventable fire in a dorm room, family home, office, or work center can take personnel out of the fight, displace families, damage critical equipment, and disrupt the installation's mission. During Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 4-10, 2026, the Wright-Patterson Fire Prevention office is calling on every member of the installation community to make safe charging part of daily readiness.
