The Working Families Tax Cuts not only prevented the largest tax hike in American history but also provided Americans with significant new tax relief. New figures (https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sb0517) from the U.S. Department of the Treasury show how new tax deductions and credits tied directly to wages, children, tips, overtime benefited millions of working-class Americans this filing season. Altogether, individual relief directly from the law put $82 billion back in Americans' pockets.
