WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Attorney's office for XXXXXX (insert district) issued the following press release:

BOSTON - A Worcester man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly distributing fentanyl and dealing in firearms without a license.

Omar Ramos-Jimenez, 27, was indicted on two counts of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, one count of distribution of and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and one count of dealing in firearms without a license. Ramos-Jimenez was arrested and charged in May 2026. Ramos-Jimenez was released on conditions following an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester on Sept. 21, 2026.
