WOMAN WHO THREATENED TO KILL REP. NANCY MACE SENTENCED TO 27 MONTHS IN FEDERAL PRISON

An Indianapolis woman has been sentenced to 27 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to threatening to kill Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) in a series of violent messages.

In January 2025, Shayla Addison, 28, sent a series of violent messages to Rep. Mace's phone number, email address, and Instagram account threatening to kill her and blow up the building. The messages included:

* "Come outside b***h we'll kill you"

* "We will kill you and blow that whole building up b***h come outside."

* "Shut up hoe I'll kill you,"

* "I hope you got mace... cause you gone need it."

* "Tread lightly"
