MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University alumnus Major (Ret.) Michael P. Hart `08 has established a new scholarship fund to support students participating in WIU's Army ROTC program.
Hart, who graduated with a degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and a minor in Military Science, established the scholarship to support WIU students and encourage the development of well-rounded leaders.
"Leadership is not simply about directing people," Hart said. "It is about understanding the systems, pressures, histories and human realities shaping them long before they ever arrive in front of you."
